SiteAccessible

Made for EU websites preparing for the EAA

Accessibility yourvisitors actually use.

One line of script gives every visitor contrast, text, reading and cursor controls in 29 languages — and gives you usage data and, on Pro and Business, a hosted accessibility statement you write yourself.

  • 7-day free trial, no card required
  • Plug and play in about two minutes
  • Helps visitors with WCAG 2.2 adjustments; does not make a site conformant

This is the panel your visitors get.

The real widget opens in the corner. Switch something on and watch this page change.

The gap

Most websites are still unusable for millions of people

Not because teams do not care, but because accessibility work never reaches the top of the backlog. Meanwhile the deadlines did arrive.

What visitors get

21 adjustments, one button

Every control is keyboard reachable, screen-reader labelled and remembered between visits. Turn off anything you do not want.

Contrast

Dark and light high-contrast modes that set real text, background and link colours, so pale text gets clearer instead of fainter, plus inverted colours.

Saturation

Tones colours down, boosts them, or removes them altogether, for visitors who find strong colour tiring or need more of it.

Text size

Enlarges every piece of text from its own size in four steps up to 200 %, so px, rem and em all grow in proportion.

Text alignment

Lines text up at the start of each line, or centres it, for readers who lose their place in justified text. Follows right-to-left pages.

Line height

Opens up line spacing to 1.75× or 2×, which is often the single biggest readability win.

Text spacing

Increases letter and word spacing in three steps; the middle step uses exactly the letter and word spacing WCAG 1.4.12 tests with.

Highlight links

Marks every link in yellow with an underline and outline, so colour is never the only cue.

Highlight headings

Outlines every heading so the sections of the page stand out at a glance.

Highlight focus

A thick two-colour ring around whatever has keyboard focus, visible on light and dark backgrounds alike.

Stop animations

Stops CSS and scripted animations, pauses autoplaying video and sound, including media added later, and freezes animated GIFs. On every plan.

Large cursor

An oversized black or white pointer that stays visible over any background.

Dyslexia-friendly font

Swaps the text face for Andika or OpenDyslexic, letterforms designed not to be confused with one another (Latin-script text).

Blue light filter

Three warmth levels for visitors with light sensitivity or migraine triggers.

Reading mask

Dims everything except a band that follows the pointer, in two sizes and two tones.

Reading guide

A ruler that tracks the pointer, for readers who skip lines in long-form text.

Slow cursor

Replaces the pointer with a large arrow that follows it slowly. On a click it jumps to the exact spot.

Hide images

Hides pictures and illustrations to cut visual clutter; hidden videos are paused as well.

Hide buttons

Hides the page's own buttons in place, so nothing shifts, for visitors who find them distracting; the accessibility button and its panel stay.

Read aloud

Reads clicked or selected text aloud with the visitor's own browser voices; offered wherever the browser has a voice for the page's language.

Dictionary

Select or double-click a word to see its definitions from Wiktionary, in English, in a popup beside it. Lookups go through siteaccessible.com, so Wiktionary never sees the visitor.

Page structure

Lists the page's headings, regions and links in the panel; choosing one moves focus straight there.

How it works

Live on your site this afternoon

index.html
<script src="https://siteaccessible.com/w/DEMO7K2QX9PVMT4RBH60.js" defer crossorigin="anonymous"></script>
  • Under 46 KB compressed
  • Loads after your content
  • Works with a strict CSP
  1. Add one script tag

Paste the snippet into your <head>, or add it through Google Tag Manager, WordPress, Shopify or your framework of choice. It loads asynchronously and never blocks rendering.

  2. Configure from the dashboard

Choose the button position, colour and shape, pick which adjustments to expose, and select the languages your audience speaks. Changes go live without redeploying.

  3. Report and keep it current

Track how the tools are actually used, day by day. On Pro and Business, write your accessibility statement with a guided form and we host it, dated, in English, Azerbaijani or Turkish; on Business, export the numbers as CSV or JSON.

Straight answer

What an accessibility widget can and cannot do

Vendors who promise instant, total compliance from a script tag are selling you a lawsuit. Here is the honest boundary, in writing, before you buy.

What SiteAccessible does

  • Gives visitors real, immediate control over contrast, type, spacing, reading aids and pointer behaviour.
  • Gives visitors extra control over presentation — text size, spacing, contrast — without touching your code. Your pages must still meet those criteria on their own.
  • Gives you dated records: usage analytics, and on Pro and Business an accessibility statement you write, date and publish yourself.
  • Speaks 29 languages, so the controls are usable by the audiences the law is written to protect.

What no widget can do

  • It cannot add meaningful alternative text, correct heading structure or accurate form labels to your markup.
  • It cannot repair a keyboard trap, a custom component with no ARIA, or a video with no captions.
  • It cannot make an inaccessible site legally compliant on its own, and we will never claim otherwise.
  • It is not a replacement for testing with real assistive-technology users.

Use SiteAccessible for the layer it genuinely covers, and fix the rest in your code. Our docs tell you which is which.

Where this is the law

29 widget languages, chosen from the statute book

We ship the widget UI in the language of every market whose legislation reaches ordinary commercial websites — because a control your visitor cannot read is not an accessible control.

Behind the button

A dashboard, not just a script

Per-site configuration

Every site gets its own key, its own look and its own feature set. Change it once, it applies everywhere that key is installed.

Usage analytics

See which adjustments people actually turn on, day by day, per site. Aggregate counts only — no visitor identifiers, no cookies you have to disclose.

Accessibility statement

On Pro and Business, answer a guided form and we host a dated statement in English, Azerbaijani or Turkish, linked from the widget. The conformance status is yours to state; we never claim it for you.

Export your numbers

On Business, download daily usage per site or for all sites as CSV or JSON, for your own records and reports.

Domains you control

The widget starts only on the domains you list for a site, staging and alternate domains included. A site key copied onto someone else's website does nothing there.

Built to be embedded

The panel's styles live in a shadow root, so they never touch your page, and page adjustments apply only while a visitor has them on. No jQuery, no framework dependency, and a strict-CSP-friendly loader.

Questions

Before you install

Will this slow my site down?
The script tag uses defer, so it never blocks your first paint, and the widget is under 46 KB compressed. On each page it draws its button, sends one page-load count and re-applies any settings the visitor saved earlier.
Does it collect personal data?
It stores nothing about your visitors. Their preferences stay in their own browser's local storage. We receive one page-load count per page view and, if you leave usage analytics on, panel opens and which adjustments were used — all stored as daily totals per site. Like any web request, these reach us with the visitor's IP address, which we never store; a keyed hash of it stays in server memory for at most 24 hours to count a page view once. There is no cookie, no fingerprint and no cross-site identifier.
Will it conflict with my CSS?
The panel renders in a shadow root with its own styles, so it neither inherits your cascade nor leaks into it. The adjustments a visitor switches on do change how your page looks — that is their job — and only while they are on. If one clashes with part of your design, switch that adjustment off for the site.
Does installing this make me compliant?
On its own, no — and be suspicious of anyone who says otherwise. It gives visitors extra control over presentation, but your pages must still meet those criteria on their own, and semantic markup, alternative text, captions and keyboard operability have to be right in your code. The statement generator helps you publish what you have assessed; it does not assess anything for you.
Which standards is it built against?
The widget's own interface is built to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the technical baseline referenced by EN 301 549, the European Accessibility Act, the Web Accessibility Directive and ADA-related guidance. Each adjustment lists the success criteria it helps visitors with — which is not the same as your page meeting them.
Can I restyle it?
Yes. Position, offset, size, shape, icon, accent colour and light or dark theme are dashboard settings on every plan, and the Business plan accepts custom CSS for the rest.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your subscription ends with the period you already paid for, and the widget stops loading on your sites. Nothing else on your website breaks, because it was only ever one script tag. Your account, configuration and usage history stay for as long as the account exists, so you can come back at any time — or download your data and delete the account yourself.
Can I self-host it?
Not at the moment. The widget is always served from our servers: that is how its settings change without a redeploy, and how it checks that it runs only on your domains.
