Before you install
Will this slow my site down?
The loader is under 30 KB gzipped, is fetched with
defer after your content, and does no work at all until a visitor opens the menu. It does not block first paint and does not affect your Core Web Vitals in any measurable way.Does it collect personal data?
No. The widget stores the visitor’s own preferences in their browser’s local storage and sends us aggregate counters only — how many times the menu opened, which adjustments were used, per site per day. There is no cookie, no fingerprint, no cross-site identifier and nothing that reaches a third party.
Will it conflict with my CSS?
The widget renders in an isolated root with its own namespaced styles, so it neither inherits your cascade nor leaks into it. The adjustments the visitor enables are applied deliberately and can be scoped away from any selector you nominate.
Does installing this make me compliant?
On its own, no — and be suspicious of anyone who says otherwise. It covers a real slice of the presentation-layer criteria and gives you the documentation an auditor asks for, but semantic markup, alternative text, captions and keyboard operability still have to be right in your code.
Which standards does it target?
WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which is the technical baseline referenced by EN 301 549, the European Accessibility Act, the Web Accessibility Directive and ADA-related guidance. Each adjustment lists the specific success criteria it supports.
Can I restyle it?
Yes. Position, offset, size, shape, icon, accent colour and light or dark theme are all dashboard settings, and paid plans accept custom CSS for the rest.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your subscription ends with the period you already paid for, and the widget stops serving on your sites. Nothing else on your website breaks, because it was only ever one script tag. Your configuration and usage history are kept for 30 days in case you come back.
Can I self-host it?
Enterprise plans include a self-hosted bundle and an on-premise configuration endpoint, so no request ever leaves your infrastructure.
